Mortimer vs. Hobo Day 5
Hobo left the guest room and ventured out into the living and dining room on his own. Mortimer sat and glared but gave Hobo space. What's the next move???

Mortimer vs. Hobo, Day 4: There Are No Enemies in Foxholes...
and all cats get along during thunder storms. When a series of thunder storms hit our area yesterday, Mortimer, Hobo along with Baby and Boomer wanted to hide in the same place. While the sky rumbled, winds howled, and rain pelted the ground outside, peace prevailed inside. During the temporary armistice I was able to make this key ring charm for my sister. It is her son, Jake, ready to wrestle anyone who got in his way.

Mortimer vs. Hobo, Day 2
After much crying on his part, I let Mortimer in the guest room. I removed Hobo and shut the door. Now Mortimer is in the guest room and Hobo has run of the house. Hobo 1, Mort 0.

Mortimer vs. Hobo
Mortimer is very unhappy that Hobo is living in our guest room. Hobo is very unhappy that Mortimer won't let him out of the guest room. Mortimer does not like to share his space or his human.

This is Hobo
We took Hobo in about a month ago. He showed up on our doorstep cold, hungry, scared and lonely. He was someone's pet and he had been abandoned. Why does someone decide to throw an animal away like last week's leftovers. Yes, I'm sure there are lots of reasons but none are morally acceptable. Plenty of organizations exist that will help rehome an animal. To kick an animal out to fend for itself is just wrong.

Blog Virgin No More
So Mortimer and I are finally blogging. I started out wanting to make a few bucks selling some of my jewelry in order to pay for Mort's food and vet bills and I've spent the last three weeks doing nothing but learning how to use the "social media outlets" to sell my stuff. We are now on Facebook, we now Tweet, but we have made no money and poor Mort gets thinner and more sickly. It is a dilemma.
